well nic and i really havent falled off the face of the earth we have both been super busy and we try to spend as much time together as we possibly can! nic is almost done with school for this semester and cant wait! or i cant wait for him! then maybe i can see him a little more! im still working full time at jamestown and then part time at an assisted living home in orem and payson! i would really like to quit and find something different but for right now thats what keeps the bills paid and the house paid. i love this house for so many reasons! it has three bedrooms, a nice size living room, and a good kitchen. in the last house i had no counter space so i was always cooking on the stove when something was in the oven! here i dont have that problem! im so spoiled but thats just because nic loves me! we bought a new car! super cute and we can use that for a few kids and then get something bigger. i love our new ward! the last ward was nice but we didn't know anyone!! and i mean anyone. the people that lived around us werent active but now that we live in a different area of town which in my opinion is SOOOOO much better we have lots of people our age! and not everyone has kids so nic and i aren't so left out! haha maybe one day we will fit in! but im ok to wait on that part for a little while! i am so excited for christmas! nic and i put our tree up the day after thanksgiving and i cant wait to open presents for our first christmas together! yay! the only thing i dont like about christmas is wrapping presents! i have only wrapped two presents and i already want to die! oh gosh! it has only just begun! i hope you all have a great week! we need visitors so come on over! i dont work every night and i am starting to cut back! so come on over!

well i cant even begin to tell you how busy nic and i have been! our last house was a lease to own and long story short the landlord wouldn't sign papers so we walked away after putting blood and sweat and 35,000 dollars... ya dont even get me started! so we moved in with my parents for three weeks and then now we have our very own house! yep! i love it! it is the cutest townhouse ever and i am so happy about it! nic and i picked out paint colors and are working on re-texturizing the walls and then we will paint! im so excited i can actually put pictures up! i was very reluctant in our last house because it wasnt technically our house so nothing was up! i am now working two jobs and have an interview for my third job tomorrow! crazy i know but nic is in school full time and works full time. so i figured i can work and the extra cash will be super nice! and lastly we said good-bye to the evo! im pretty sure nic cried what a little baby but he can get another one.... one day! so we are currently looking for another car. if anyone has any good deals going on let us know! we dont want to spend more than about 15,000 and it needs to be a family car. dont get any ideas! i promise i will post pictures of our house as soon as possible!

today i got to watch my favorite niece! she is so stinkin cute i could just love her all day long.. we had a bit of a rough start. when crystal(kims sister) dropped her off at my parents around noon she was asleep but i still had to run a few errands and she warned me that she would be hungry when she woke up because it had been a while. well jess and i ran to wal-mart to find some tie dye and it was pretty easy. she woke up while we were in wal-mart and she was fine but as soon as i put her back in the car oh my goodness i never knew a baby could yell so much! we still had to stop at albertsons and jess's house. so jess ran in the store got two shirts while i stayed with the baby the whole time she is still yelling at me. mind you i live in spanish fork this isn't just a short drive home. then we go to jess's house she runs in comes out and we are headed home by the time we got home i had to hurry and warm her bottle up and feed her because she was not happy with me. the rest of the day went well we made tie dye shirts and i even made one for kirsten. the only down fall my finger turned green! like seriously green! oh well good memories! thanks for a great day jess! love you!

grandma howell with baby kirsten!

this last weekend nic and i had the chance to drive up to firth idaho.. haha little town of about 300 people where my parents both grew up. we celebrated my grandpa turning 80! wow i love him so much its so weird i take care of people younger than him! i miss him already and he entertained us all by singing and dancing with his brother ron who i had never met before. im 20 years old and have never met my grandpas brother. but i have met all of my grandmas siblings. we drove up on friday ate a very tasty dinner, then stayed at my uncle jays house! saturday i got woken up mighty early to take the dog and rylie sue because my parents and aunt and uncle were going golfing. i took care of miss rylie until jaxon woke up and then i had two kids! oh i want one.. no clues or anything :) then ate breakfast with everyone and had to go set up for the big party at the church in firth. it was amazing! so many people showed up and my grandpa is so so so stinkin cute! then sunday we came back and little baby girl marsden was blessed kirsten jalee marsden. such a great weekend!

well we have had a pretty boring last couple of weeks! we have been working on the house and both nic and i getting sick! boo. i dont like being sick one bit! this weekend we are headed to idaho for my marsden family reunion and my grandpa turns 80! it is so weird that he will be 80! i take care of people that are younger than that! but he is dang cute and im excited to see my whole family! i haven't seen them since my wedding. i cant believe nic and i have almost been married three months! wow that has gone by so so fast!

4th of july!

i have the cutest niece in the world! sorry everyone else but she totally wins the cute contest! this 4th of july we went up to my cabin and just spent time with the family. my uncle stuart was down and we just relaxed and had fun.. it was very nice to come home and take a nice long hot shower though!

yep its true i suck! i guess thats what being married does to you! a lot has happened. i am now officially an aunt and i couldn't be happier! i love her! kirsten jalee marsden. cutest little girl ever! our house is becoming more and more like a home the inside of the house is pretty much done so if any one wants to come visit come on over! sorry this is so short! but at least its something right!

so im slacking but thats ok i haven't taken any pictures of my house but it is so stinkin cute! i love it.. its finally starting to come together! i cook every night and it is weird that i do that because i never cooked at my parents. but i honestly do love cooking. ive made enchiladas, mac and cheese, um rice and chicken, so kind of easy stuff but good right? haha i can honestly say nic is my best friend. it has been kind of hard getting used to the fact that im actually married but i love nic more than words can say! i wish i could see my wedding pictures i want to see how they turned out!

back to reality

wow im married! i can not believe that! its so exciting! i love it so much and it seriously is the best thing that has ever happened to me. the wedding went well. it rained all day well not all day but while we were under the tent then it cleared up for pictures which makes me happy because i didn't want to be under an unbrella all day so it worked out great! our house is finished well technically a house is never finished there is always something to be worked on so im pretty excited. it was freezing saturday night so nic and i got to cuddle all night it was pretty fun. vegas was awesome honestly just what i needed but i got woke up to a rude awakening this morning when the schedule got messed up so i was not very happy but thats alright. it all works out. nic and i really didn't take to many pictures in vegas so sorry no pictures for that. but i thought i would update our blog while i have a chance. being frustrated with the freaking pictures on here. it wont let me download pictures so sorry!

today is the day!

well today is finally here i cant believe it! i haven't put pictures up of my bridals because i didn't want to spoil the suprise but since im getting married today i guess it doesn't really matter so i will do that today if i can find them on my filled computer. well i must say it has been very hectic the last few days and i just found out that my bridesmaid is at work and she isn't going to be here and it is so so so frustrating because this is the second time this has happened. my best friend told me about three weeks ago she was going on a cuise and she wouldn't be here so there is one and then the other one just told me she is at work so.. this is just wonderful i love my life and i shouldn't be stressing about this but if any of you know me i stress about EVERYTHING i cant help it thats just how i am.
well nic and i moved stuff into our home last night, nic still calls it a house because we haven't stayed there and its technically not done so for him its still a house but it is our cute little home. his dad and him suprised me and bought me all bran new appliances and had my counter set oh how i love his father. he has seriously been the biggest help and i dont know how i will ever repay him but im sure i will find a way.. well i have to get going today is a very busy day i hope lots of people come tonight! cant wait!

oh my goodness it has been forever! im sorry for all of those if any that read this.. i am a loser i know.. but if you do actually come to my site then please leave comments and let me know that you love me? haha well we are definatly down to single digits before the big day well not techinically.. tomorrow ok so technically 10. so i took pictures of the latest of my house but i left my camera there hopefully i will get it back before next week so i dont forget to post pictures. i can not believe that im getting married in 10 days i seriously am like oh my goodness... this is unreal. i dont think i will even believe it until its already here. so i have to vent my frustrations. this past week i have been asked by several different people if they can come to my ceremony.. well even though i am not originally going to get married in the temple doesn't mean that people are invited to my ceremony. if i was getting married in the temple people wouldn't be allowed in the temple unless they were invited. so, no you are not invited to my ceremony unless you got the insert in your invite. but thanks for asking and this is me politely saying only family is invited to the cermony. but on a better note my house is all painted and the colors look awesome. nic and i couldn't decide on a color for the second bedroom because eventually when we have children that will be the nursery for a while but in my dining room we painted the back wall yellow so we finally decided to paint the room yellow because that goes with either boy or girl but kids wont happen for a few years so dont get to excited. since i dont have pictures for this post and i dont want it to be boring i will post more engagments haha sorry but they are all super cute!

ok ive been majorly slacking but its not my fault! i only have 36 days until i get married! and i feel like i still have so much to do that i can not take it anymore. my house is slowly coming together! NEVER... re-do a house i have hated every minute of it but my hubby likes it so i guess if he wants to do all the work go right ahead! but i would never never do this again! it is so hard and puts major stress on me. i dont like it! so here are some updated pictures! my house will get mudded on the 23rd! and i seriously can not wait! then we cant paint and finish the floors! i am super excited!

ok i seriously suck at blogging! haha but granted i am in the middle of planning a wedding! give me some slack! this last week we well let me say nic because i didn't see the house at all this week but he finished our bathroom floor because it was so uneven! it took 800 pounds of cement! i can not believe it! we got our engagements back and they are so good! i love them and they were so hard to choose from but we finally narrowed it down to five and i will post those! ive got more wedding stuff done and we are now on the count down from 48 days today! i cant believe it! i seriously cant its coming so fast! we are going to get my bridals done this weekend they are technically called groomals now so nic will be in a tux and he looks super good even though i feel fat compared to him because he is so skinny! hopefully i will be better about blogging maybe when i have time! haha thats never! oh ya i lost 5 pounds! so so good! and my dress is back from alterations everything looks so good!

as soon as he gets out of the bathtub its time to run. he takes off and runs all over my house which is ok with me because then it takes less time to blow dry him which is completly adorable but a pain because he moves so much.

even though he does look like a rat when im through he's still cute and everyone would understand why i need one when i get married! lets help nic agree too! please honey :(

on my days off i tend to do my various chores around the house that need to be done. this week it was washing my dog who after he plays with keiko you dont want to be anywhere near him!

Bea!

as many of you know i work in an assisted living home and it can be fun some days and very challenging others. this is one of my very favorite residents and one of my best friends traci nielson and i went to see her. traci and i work together so we spend a ton of time with each other and the residents.

she wasn't as excited as we were to see her, she fell and broke her hip a few weeks ago so we thought it would be fun to go see her. we took her balloons and by the time we wanted to take them to her room she was determined not to let us have them! it was so funny. i hope she makes it back, by this age once you fall you have a 50

/50 chance of coming back.

this is more like her! she was so goofy and she would dance and run around, just had so much energy that it was hard for us to keep up with her!

ok so ive decided to start our blog because everyone else has one and its easier to keep in touch with everyone, especially since i dont see everyone i want to and talk to anyone. well we are officially two months away from our wedding date! i am getting so excited and its actually super nerve racking! we bought a house in spanish fork and thats where we will be living. we finally have sheet rock on the walls now but i dont have any pictures of that yet so all the pictures i have are old and dont give our house justice. i am very thankful to have a house and not an apartment because i might want to kill nic if we lived in an apartment. he would get so bored! so this will give him something to work on constantly and i will love that. well im sure since i am new to this i will be on here a lot so thats all for now and i hope you all enjoy!
